In teams across league the injury rates have taken a toll among receivers. Last Sunday the Cowboys and Broncos had ended the games with their top two receivers on the sidelines. Denver was also missing other starting players with Champ Bailey, Elvis Dumervil, and Knowshon Moreno to name a few in their victory against the Bengals. Tampa Bay stunned the Vikings despite finishing the first half with a 17-0 deficit. The Buc’s Legarrette Blount scored the winning 4-yard touchdown with only 31 seconds left in the game. The Redskins were able top the Cardinals by a point after starting the fourth quarter with an eight point deficit. Grossman’s 18-yard pass to Santana Moss brought the deficit within 2 points with only 5:17 remaining on the clock. Despite the failed two-point conversion, Graham Gano’s 34- yard field goal brought in the win with 1:45 remaining. The Cardinals (1-1) have allowed 934 yards in two games.
