Rodriguez said after the game “I’ll be talking to you guys on Friday afternoon,” “I can’t wait.”
The report which was published in the New York Daily News said that sources at Major League Baseball said “seemed more interested in telling Rodriguez to avoid awkward situations than disciplining him.”
These allegations were first reported by the Star Magazine and that Rodriguez had participated in around two games, one of which ended up at a Beverly Hills mansion of a record executive where even “cocaine was openly used” and then later on a fight broke up among the players who refused to pay up after they lost the game the reported amount was around “more than a half-million dollars.”
As the story goes the details which were given by the other player at the games later tried to put some distance between himself and the game he was allegedly at once there was violence added to the mix. This was probably in fear of his MLB career since he was warned one other time. NFL lines
According to the whistle blower “He just shook his head, not knowing what the hell happened,” “He didn’t want to deal with it at all. He was like, ‘OK, whatever. It’s your game.’ I would estimate A-Rod lost, like, a few thousand dollars that night. After everything that happened, he paid up and left.”
Back in 2005 when Rodriguez was just starting out in the Major league he was warned in regards to his participation in underground gambling and in particular poker clubs by both Yankees as well as the commissioner of the MLB himself Bud Selig both were concerned about the fact that violence does break out. There was also the concern that there was betting on baseball games which could result in a lifetime suspension kind of what Pete Rose got from the MLB. However, what happens remains to be seen on Monday when the meeting takes place. NFL spreads
