ATHLETICS TAKE OUT JAYS
Thu, 19 Aug 2010 11:10 AM EDT

The Oakland Athletics can count their win over the Blue Jays as one of their better performances this year. They have delivered decent results for their fans, but have faltered a bit lately. However, the A’s looked composed all through the series, and really performed well. They defeated the heavy hitting Blue Jays in a spectacular game, showing everyone what they are really capable of. The game ended 5-4 after nine innings. Baseball scores.

Cliff Pennington came through for his team in a big way. The hopes and dreams of thousands of fans relied on his broad shoulders on Wednesday. It was a spectacular display of natural talent. Pennington managed to win the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth. The A’s blew a 4-1 lead in the top of the ninth, but in the end they managed to keep their flawless record intact. They have now won 51 games this season. Basketball scores.

The Blue Jays have some of the hardest hitting sluggers in the nation, who most always deliver some great games. They almost won. The game was set to go to extra innings, but their hopes of a win were shut down. Though Toronto has had a number of strong games throughout the year, their record remains shoddy.

They have an amazing batting crew, but their fielding is a bit on the weak side. NFL scores.

The Athletics capitalized on this and pushed the game home. Oakland has a perfect win record after leading late in the game after all. The rest of the season looks pretty solid for the Athletics so log as they keep delivering promising performances as often they can.
