The Orlando Magic faced the Atlanta Hawks yesterday in what turned out to be yet another difficult game for the Orlando team. The Magic have had a downright bad month, which failed to get much better when new players Gilbert Arenas, Jason Richardson and Hedo Turkoglu showed up. In fact, the disorganization only increased. Orlando displayed little to no offensive flow as the Hawks swooped in and took the game. Holding the lead at the end of every quarter, Atlanta won the game 91-81 after regulation time. Vegas odds.

The Magic was, “the same team but with different players,” according to Al Horford. That being the case, the Hawks knew exactly what they needed to do. The team found their groove early in the game, and took advantage of the Magic’s issues to win it in the end. While all five of Atlanta’s regular starters were able to achieve double-digits in this match-up, this is not to say that the Hawks are on a roll. This team has lacked a factor of ferocity this season, and continues to merely keep up in the Southeast Division and Eastern Conference. Still, they did come through with a win in this one. Horford gave a team-best 24 points and 11 rebounds for his second straight double-double, while Joe Johnson contributed 17 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds to help take the game. With the new experimental lineup, Atlanta moved to 18-12 for second place of its division. Betting lines.

The game was not much better than their season-low 14 points in the first quarter for the Magic. Each player did his best. Arenas even got a three-pointer on his first shot on a new team, but Orlando failed to build a lead. Still, having just acquired the three new players, it was not a bad run. The team didn’t even get a proper warm-up, as the new players had to take physicals. Perhaps the team will have better luck in their next game against the Dallas Mavericks with a bit of practice.
