Braun’s case marks the 1st time a baseball player has favorably challenged a drug-related charge in a grievance.

was due to report to spring training with the Milwaukee Brewers in Maryvale, Ariz. NFL lines

“I am really pleased and relieved by today’s resolution,” Braun said in a press release. “It is step one in restoring my good reputation and name. We were able to get thru this because I am innocent and the truth is on the right side.

“We provided complete cooperation throughout in spite of the highly unusual concerns. I have been an open book, content to share information from every part of my life as part of this inquiry, simply because I have nothing to hide. I have passed over 25 drug tests in my career, including at least three during the past year.”

Two resources declared that Braun testified he never used performance-enhancing drugs, but that he and his delegates in no way disputed the proven fact that a 2nd test on his urine sample showed exogenous testosterone in his body, meaning it came from an external source.

Braun didn’t argue evidence of messing and didn’t challenge the science, but disagreed protocol had not been followed.

MLB officials, however, argued that there wasn’t any question regarding the chain of custody or the integrity of the sample, and that Braun’s members did not argue the test itself was defective.

Resources related MLB is livid and is gauging the likelihood of suing in federal court to have Das’ decision overturned, but that they did not expect a choice to be made till after Das concerns his written report within the next week or so and MLB barristers have a chance to review it. Someone familiar with the condition related that, after being informed of the positive outcome, Braun asked to have another urine test taken, and therefore the second test was within ordinary range.
