BLUE JAYS CONTINUE TO DOMINATE
Thu, 29 Jul 2010 08:00 PM EDT

Sometimes, there is just no room for breaking tradition. The Toronto Blue Jays have thrashed the Baltimore Orioles, taking them for a whirlwind nightmare of a series. They have been defeating the Orioles for a very long time, and the latest game in their intertwined history left them sitting on top of a 5-0 shutout.

Baltimore is the worst team in the majors at the moment; most every team they come up against has been defeating them. It has not been a fun time for these guys, imagine going to work and knowing you are going to have a horrible day, how would that feel?

The Blue Jays on the other hand have been winning quite a few games in recent weeks, with the addition of Yunel Escobar, it seems they have changed their fate for the 2010 season. Before they got him, they were doing ok, but with the addition of the surprisingly powerful player, they have rocketed up in the standings.

The game on Wednesday ended on a high note for Toronto. Rookie pitcher Brad Mills really brought some serious talent to the game, and claimed his first victory in the majors. His breakout game put the Jays in a good spot. His talent is self-evident. He ended up pitching seven innings of gold. It was Toronto’s 12th consecutive win over Baltimore.

Blue Jays manager Cito Gaston pulled Mills up from the minors for a fantastic game. He was optioned back down when the game was over, but it was a good experience for everyone. He said in a post-game interview that he will keep Mills in mind, offering him priority.

Things keep getting better and better for the Blue Jays, they head off to bigger and better things with confidence in themselves. They are coming off a high and will be sure to carry that momentum forward. Be sure and check out all the best sports betting information at www.scoresandodds.com
