They played against the Steelers on Monday in what turned out to be a brutal ordeal. The Broncos made quick work of their opponents, and took a solid victory. They won 34-17, with some expert passing and running made all the difference. The best thing about football is that everything is random; you never know what is going to happen. Coaches try and get ready through training, but nothing quite prepares for an enemy in front of an audience.
The Steelers came apart when Denver switched things up with their lineup. Dennis Dixon came on to play for Ben Roethlisberger, who was pulled and is facing a six game suspension. The team will have to get used to not having him around, but it will not be easy. It looked as if the whole team failed to sync on Monday. Betting Lines
The Denver Broncos are a rock solid team; there is no debate there. They have amazing players that always play their best, and on Monday it was more of the same. Andre Goodman returned Dixon’s second interception 77 yards for a touchdown with 11 seconds left in the second quarter. That gave Denver a 17-3 halftime lead.
The rest of the year is shaping up quite nicely for teams that are getting some good wins in early on. The level of play is higher than ever, as the spirit of competition is most definitely alive in the 2010 NFL. Football Odds
