Things couldn’t have gone more wrong for the Vancouver Canucks with the Boston Bruins pulling out some stuff even the most optimistic fans didn’t expect. The Boston Bruins hovered across to mob Tim Thomas who tapped both goalposts who dropped down on his knees and rubbed the ice in front of a goal which was empty. Baseball scores

There was some brilliant goal keeping done by the Bruins’ goalie who just didn’t give the Canucks anything. That may have probably been a game changer, something which exceeded expectations. The Bruins have been able to pull off a win for the Stanely Cup after 39 years of  being unsuccessful. Basketball scores

Thomas did a wonderful job and the Bruins are now the NHL’s very best. Now the cup heads over back to the Mecca of Hockey.

Thomas made 37 saves during the second shutout of what many describe as a landmark performance. Both Brad Marchand and pro Patrice Bergeron scored two goals each as the Bruins snatched a 4-0 win last night for their first win since 1972.

Thomas said. “I think I went even further than I thought,” “I was scared, I won’t lie. I had nerves yesterday and today, and I faked it as best as I could, and I faked it all the way to the Stanley Cup.”

Thomas is the real deal as he managed to limit if not contain the highest scoring team in the NHL to just eight goals during the seven games which also included game 7 where he blanked them. You have the oldest Smythe Trophy winner in the history of NHL who has stopped a whopping 238 shots of the Canucks 246 shots in the finals for a percentage of .967 saves. This is even better than his previous .940 mark and the 1.98 average in his postseason game. NFL scores

Thomas said “If I was going to do it any way, it would have to be the hardest way possible,” “Three Game 7s in the playoffs, and to have to win it on the road in the final.”

Mark Recchi said “We got the first goal, and we knew that would be important coming here,” Mark is 43-year-old and has plans to go into retirement after he wins the Stanley Cup. “If they got any chances, Timmy was there, and it was just scary how good he was.”
