Thomas made 37 saves during the second shutout of what many describe as a landmark performance. Both Brad Marchand and pro Patrice Bergeron scored two goals each as the Bruins snatched a 4-0 win last night for their first win since 1972.

Thomas said. “I think I went even further than I thought,” “I was scared, I won’t lie. I had nerves yesterday and today, and I faked it as best as I could, and I faked it all the way to the Stanley Cup.”

Thomas is the real deal as he managed to limit if not contain the highest scoring team in the NHL to just eight goals during the seven games which also included game 7 where he blanked them. Mark Recchi said “We got the first goal, and we knew that would be important coming here,” Mark is 43-year-old and has plans to go into retirement after he wins the Stanley Cup. “If they got any chances, Timmy was there, and it was just scary how good he was.”
