The Los Angeles Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks met in L.A. last night to see who could add one more “w” to their record to move ahead in the season. Even though the Lakers knew that they were treading into this game on thin ice, they suffered a distressing defeat at the hands of the Bucks. With that, Los Angeles’ five game winning streak was brought to an end. While a whacky second hand took them down, the Lakers still stand strong with high playoff hopes. The game came to a close at 98-79 after regulation time. Vegas odds.

Surprisingly, the Bucks had lost six in a row to the Lakers as well as three in a row during the course of the last week. Furthermore, the team was down to only nine players after a rough loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Luckily those nine came through with outstanding results in this yesterday. In a spectacular defensive performance Milwaukee held the two time defending champions to a franchise low number of points. They also made 50% of their shots and ended the game with a 21-7 run. On an individual basis, Earl Boykins achieved a season-high 22 points with 3 rebounds, John Salmons had 20 points and 6 assists and Andrew Bogut was good for 15 points. This win moved the team to 11-16 for third place of the Central Division. Betting lines.

The Lakers were simply worn down. L.A. had just completed a seven-game road trip, and knew that they would be facing the Miami Heat in the following game. The tiring situation resulted in a lousy second half from which they never recovered. Even coach Phil Jackson admitted, “I don’t think they can play any worse than that.” Given the franchise-low points made and attitude of the players, Jackson might just have a point. Still, these are the Lakers. The defending champions are sure to improve their stunning 21-8 record and end on a good foot. See if they cam redeem themselves against the Heat this Saturday. As always, look to for the best online betting information and odds. Sports scores.
