CHARLOTTE BOBCATS LOSE IN CHICAGO
Mon, 14 Feb 2011 05:21 PM EST

The Chicago Bulls were tremendous at home as they defeated the Charlotte Bobcats. It was a game that could have gone either way as both teams were a bit inconsistent throughout the four quarters. But even if they were playing a Michael Jordan owned team that absolutely crushed the Lakers a night before, the Bulls managed to gain the upper hand and get a win in front of their fans. Chicago Bulls’ top performer Luol Deng seemed particularly motivated by the presence of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

“It’s great just seeing Michael and Scottie sitting there,” Luol Deng stated. “It’s been great all year seeing Scottie. We all look up to Scottie. He’s been at practice [as a team ambassador]. It was good to also see Michael.”

It all started great for the Bulls as they outscored the Bobcats 23-29 in the first quarter. Luol Deng, which seemed to have wings, managed 24 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Odds.

“You can’t leave him open,” Stephen Jackson from the Charlotte Bobcats stated. “Everybody knows he can’t do anything else but shoot.”

Gerald Henderson, Boris Diaw and Jackson put up a very good fight for the Bobcats, all three of them managing decent scores, but, even with that, they were unable to reproduce their amazing form from the match against the Lakers and couldn’t do anything to get past the Bulls. They barely managed to keep up with the Bulls in the second quarter, and even though they weren’t so heavily outscored, they couldn’t put a single dent in Chicago’s confidence. By the end of the first half the Bulls had a manageable 7 point advantage but it was always going to go their way. Scores.

The Bobcats went into the third quarter knowing that it was all up to them if they wanted to get something out of this match, but Chicago’s tremendous team effort was amazing. They managed to crush Charlotte’s momentum and they were barely outscored, 28-26, in the third quarter.

“Guys are extremely confident,” as stated by Boozer. “If you’re in the NBA, you can play. … We’re a team — not just one guy, two guys, three guys; we’re a group of guys. Everybody on this team, whether you’re starting or off the bench, can play in the NBA and play well.”

It was one of the toughest matches for the Chicago Bulls and if they can keep winning like this, it will be an amazing season. Las Vegas odds.
