The Seattle Seahawks will travel to Soldier Field this Sunday, January 16th to take on the NFC North leading Chicago Bears. Coming into this game, Seattle silenced the skeptics last Saturday with a close 41-36 win over the New Orleans Saints. Chicago is rested and coming off a first round bye. While at first glance this game might look like an easy prediction, don’t be too quick to underestimate the Seahawks. Las Vegas odds.

In addition to beating the defending Super Bowl champions, Seattle already routed the Bears 23-20 in their regular season showdown. Still, the Bears’ ninth ranked defense and 11-5 record will pose a real challenge for the Hawks. Be sure to catch all the hard-hitting action this weekend on Fox Sports at 1:00PM ET. Odds.

The team to enter the playoffs with the worst regular season record in NFL history is somehow only one upset away from an NFC Championship game. Marshawn Lynch sealed last week’s game with an inspiring 67-yard TD run, and will hopefully be able to deliver big again. Having improved since last time they faced the Bears, when they sacked QB Jay Cutler a total of six times, the Seahawks are hoping they will remain lucky and net their first road playoff win in 27 years. The Hawks are smartly downplaying their previous victory over Chicago. QB Matt Haseelbeck even admitted, “For us to sit back and say, ‘we beat them at their place we can do it again,’ that would be a dangerous way to feel.” Blitz schemes, determination and strong defense have brought Seattle this far, but many doubt it will take them much further. Scores.

The Bears are rested and ready to fight for an overall NFC title. After struggling a bit in the beginning to find an effective offensive rhythm, Chicago went on to win five straight and seven of eight before taking the division. Considering RB Matt Forte’s average of 119.7 yards from scrimmage, and the fact that Chicago eclipsed the 100-yard mark in eight of their last nine games, the Bears look ready to pounce. To further sway the odds Pro Bowl linebacker Lance Briggs will be present this time around. Be sure to watch Cutler make his postseason debut while leading his team into its first playoff appearance in four seasons. For the best online betting information, look no further than
