It was a game of lost opportunities, but the Cowboys managed to find their way to a win. Dallas took on a frustrated Manning and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in hopes of making up for their loss to the New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving. They certainly did in this game. Though it took a bit of overtime, the Cowboys not only won the game, they also achieved a few season-highs and impressive numbers. It all came to an end at a final and close score of 38-35. Dallas was able to accomplish many feats in this match-up. First off and perhaps most inspiring, the team was able to turn two of Peyton Manning’s four interceptions into scores. One of them even sent the team into overtime. They also got four picks off the distressed QB, with the last one setting up the field goal that won the game. The Cowboys exposed and took advantage of every flaw in the Colts play. Dallas came through for a season-high 217 yards and 20 points on turnovers. On an individual basis, player of the game Tashard Choice ended with 100 yards on 19 carries, while Jon Kitna was 18 of 26 for 167 yards. The Colts fell to 6-6, and netted their third consecutive loss over the last couple weeks. Manning simply can’t seem to get anything right. It was just another bad day for the franchise QB, filled with poor communication, careless throws, interceptions and picks. Though they were able to bring it to a tie for some OT, they dropped to one game behind the division leading Jacksonville Jaguars.
