Son of the legend racer Dale Earnhardt Jr. has made things very clear that he does not like the current way of restrictor plate racing prior to him even arriving at the Daytona International Speedway. He said a week prior to the race scheduled on Saturday “I’m not looking forward to going to Daytona, not with the way the drafting is there,” on the day the track opened he said “It’s really weird and kinda wrong on some levels to race that way,” Basketball spreads

But if he had any doubt he managed to end it after a very frustrating finish in 19th place followed by his army of fans who accused Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jimmie Johnson of actually sabotaging his chance to win.  He said “I am really ticked off. It was a foolish … race. I don’t know what to tell you,” “I don’t like this kind of racing and you know it.”

However, Earnhardt did not looked ticked off at Johnson and the teammate he had partnered with for the second plate race. He had pushed Johnson to go ahead and win the Talladega back in April and Johnson has been saying all week that he wants to return that favor in Daytona. Football spreads

There used to be a time when Earnhardt didn’t really need help to win the Daytona, he could just get to the front and hold off everyone else around the closing laps. That is exactly how he managed it ten years ago, which was his first visit to the track since his father’s awful accident back in the 2001 Daytona 500.
