The Dallas Mavericks continue to play their best. Their latest feat involves a win against the Toronto Raptors. Even if the Raptors are not much of an opposition this season, it is still Dallas’ sixth win in a row. Shawn Marion and Dirk Nowitzki were amazing as they hacked away at Toronto’s defenses. Scores.

The first quarter started with the Raptors in control. They quickly managed to build an astounding 19 points lead, but that was about everything they could pull off in the game. Still, the Dallas Mavericks’ defense was in shambles and the Raptors took advantage. However, the Mavericks quickly got their heads together and managed to reduce the deficit. By the end of the first quarter, the score was 24-30.

“That was ugly early, we didn’t really get any stops.” Dirk Nowitzky stated. “I thought our bench really saved us, some nights your starting five just don’t have it for whatever reason, fatigue, rhythm or whatever. Our bench was phenomenal.”

The second quarter was kind of equally balanced. If the Raptors hadn’t taken that early lead, you could have said that the teams are level. However, with the Mavericks still unable to reduce the entire deficit, the Raptors were still ahead. The score at half time was 50-57. Las Vegas odds.

“If you come out and aren’t ready to play at a high level you’re going to get your face smashed in, and that’s what happened to us early,” Rick Carlisle, Dallas Mavericks coach, stated. “We took the hit and fought back. Some nights, that’s how you’ve got to win.”

However, everything turned around in the second half. The Mavericks finally got their defense going and they quickly managed to completely destroy Toronto’s advantage. Their determination proved adamant as they kept scoring and scoring. By the end of the third quarter, the score was 75-72.

“They were just picking us apart,” Jose Calderon, which scored 15 points and got 8 rebounds and 8 assists, stated. “They were just finding the open guy and that’s what the good teams do. We stopped them in the first half but in the second we couldn’t stop it.”

The Mavericks made good use of their momentum and continued the good work in the fourth quarter. They were simply better than their opposition, better physically and better mentally. They kept augmenting their lead, and by the end of the game, the score was 114-96. Vegas odds.
