It has been four days since training camp began for the Philadelphia Eagles, but they have done everything to get the receiver DeSean Jackson on their team. But in order to fulfill their Super Bowl dream they will need to include him and make him an integral part of the team. The Eagles are expecting that Jackson will end his holdout this week according to a league official. The team is willing to speak to Jackson regarding the contract extension but there were no formal negotiations which will take place until he comes to report for camp at Lehigh University. Starting this Thursday Jackson would be fined a whopping $30,000 for every day he is in holdout. The president of the Eagles Joe Banner said that he does not know when Jackson will come to the camp. Basketball odds

Bannar said “He has not indicated that he intends to be in here imminently, but I would be the last one he’d tell that to because he does not want me to know his plan,”

The Eagles have evidently been busy while Jackson was absent as they singed on cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha the defensive end for Jason Babin, they also got quarterback Vince Young as well as defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins. They have also traded for the cornerback Dominique Rogers-Cromartie in what sent the quarterback Kevin Kolb over to Arizona Cardinals. In addition Rodgers-Cromartie will also play opposite the four time Pro Bowler Asante Samuel who has reported to camp on Monday morning. Jackson is currently a two time Pro Bowl player and is slated to make $565,000 in the way of base salary for this season which is the last of his four year deal but he has expressed discontent regarding his contract. The general manager for the Eagles Howie Roseman didn’t want to comment on the specifics of Jackson’s absence last week. He seemed to be given special instructions to stay tight lipped. Roseman said “We’re going to keep that internal, and all conversations with DeSean we’re going to keep private,” This could possibly mean that things are not turning in the team favor or Jackson just does not want to stick to the deal they are offering them and wants them to come up with something better.
