As with many games this year, it came down to the pitching. The Dodgers managed to best the Brewers merely from the mound. On top of that, the batting lineup connected more hits, overall delivering a better performance. It has been a long winding road for LA this year, but they have won a few important victories. It was the fifth straight victory for the Dodgers. They have been on quite a roll recently. Rod Barajas had a great debut with the team, smashing a three-run homer. Baseball Spreads

At the plate, the Dodgers were great. With the help of Barajas’ homer, they moved into a solid lead. Matt Kemp added a 447-foot homer in the second, but the big show came in the sixth when Barajas really sealed the game. His three-run homer in front of the massive crowd was the highlight of the game. There is no doubt about that. To wrap it up, Hong-Chih Kuo gave it his all. Even though he allowed some Brewers to get on plate, he sealed the game to aid his team in taking another win. It was his fifth save of the season, Corey Hart popped out to strike out Weeks and bring an end to the game.

The rest of the season looks great for the Dodgers. They need only to keep playing strong games and delivering results. The Brewers have been playing great baseball as well; so expect them to come back strong in the next few days against LA.
