It seems that the Spanish have a firm grasp on how to play tennis. With two players making headlines around the world, and a long list of important wins this year, it doesn’t look like there is any chance of slowing them down. After Rafael Nadal took the US Open, Guillermo Garcia-Lopez won the Thailand Open last week. However, things are moving on. Odds.

Garcia-Lopez is back in the news. He has made the semifinals for the second time in two weeks. Riding high off the victory in Thailand, he has swung over to Japan to see what he can do there. So far, he has remained unbeaten. He has done incredibly well, and advanced to the semi-finals by beating out sixth-seeded Feliciano Lopez 7-6 (5), 6-4 in the Japan Open on Wednesday. Scores.

Shocking the world, he beat out top seeded, global number one and fellow countryman Rafael Nadal during the Thailand open. Garcia-Lopez claims that his semifinal win in Bangkok over Rafael Nadal was a big boost to his confidence. Apparently, it has paid off. The Spaniard is playing near perfect tennis, and has gone undefeated. If he can keep it up he will be claiming his second Open title in as many weeks. Another player that is through to the final eight is Jarkko Nieminen of Finland, who actually was beaten out by Garcias-Lopez in Thailand. Las Vegas odds.

The rest of the tournament will bring much excitement. If he can continue performing at such a demanding level, Guillermo will have an outstanding year. He first has to beat out the rest of the competition. Be sure and watch all the action at
