The Golden State Warriors have had a weird season. One moment they were winning hard games, the next one they were losing the easy ones. On the other hand, the Washington Wizards are in terrible form and they can’t seem to win. However, the game was a lot tighter than you might have expected. Basketball scores.

The game started with neither team showing any concern for defense. Stephen Curry had an awesome game for the Warriors but his first quarter performance wasn’t enough to secure a lead. The Wizards held their own against the Warriors and they even managed to grab the lead a few times. By the end of the first quarter, the Wizards had 1 point more than the Warriors. The score was 32-33.

“You’re always in control of the game if you’re winning, and they had to do so much to get back in it,” Stephen Curry stated. “You don’t want to be in that situation, so we have to learn from that and keep that lead and hopefully maintain that throughout the fourth quarter.”

However, the Warriors got it together in the second quarter and showed a lot more defensive determination. They were able to keep the Wizards from scoring too many and got into a healthy position. By the end of the first half, the Warriors were leading by 9 points. The score of the second quarter was 30-20, which brought the overall score to 62-53. Basketball odds.

“I’d like to think that when we outrebound the other team we have a very good win-loss record, so I try to set the tone and if shots come my way, they do, and if they don’t, they don’t,” David Lee stated. “My main concern is to continue rebounding.”

The Warriors kept it going in the third quarter and they quickly added to their lead. For a moment, it really looked like the Washington Wizards would be unable to mount any kind of resistance.

“All of a sudden, you look up and you’re down 20,” Randy Wittman stated.

However, as the third quarter progressed, it became evident that the Washington Wizards were not about to back down from this one. After the third quarter, the score was set at 91-74. Basketball spreads.

The Washington Wizards rallied themselves in the fourth quarter and they were able to provide some last-second drama. The Warriors were uncertain of their win until Stephen Curry bagged in 3 free throws with less than 6 seconds left on the clock. The final score was 106-102.
