In what many are calling a repeat from several weeks ago, the Rays are poised to take lead of the AL-Eastern Division. They have been playing some magnificent games lately, and are tied with the struggling New York Yankees.

Injuries have shut the Yankees down, and two unfortunate losses in a row have brought them down in the rankings. The Rays on the other hand, are coming into their own. Tampa bay has won a number of important games in an attempt to catch the Yanks. The effort has paid off, and depending how things go in the next couple of days, there may be a new leader in the Eastern. Scores

With the division playoffs coming up so soon, every single victory counts. The number of remaining games is extremely limited. It has happened more than once that a team that has placed top throughout the entire season gets knocked out in the very end. The Yankees will have to pick themselves back up, and rebound from their recent losing streak if they wish to hold onto their lead. The Rays are battling back from a huge deficit, and have played some great baseball lately.

The Yankees stand tied with the Rays for the leadership of the AL-Eastern Division. They currently have 72 wins and 46 losses. A .610 win percentage backs their record, with 37 – 21 at home and 35 – 25 on the road.  They have been in control all season, and shouldn’t falter this late in the game. Las Vegas Odds

The Rays have similar numbers. 72 wins and 46 losses so far this season, a .610 win percentage and 37 – 24 home games to 35 – 22 road games is what they have cultivated with strong games. The rest of the season is sure to be exciting; both of these teams are candidates for greatness. Be sure and follow it all at Odds, home of the best sports betting data.
