INDIANS TRUMP ROYALS
Tue, 28 Sep 2010 01:40 PM EDT

The Cleveland Indians continue to deliver solid performances this year, and have managed a number of great victories. The team has a simply superb collection of players, and on Sunday, they took home another win for their team. The Indians are not the best team in the nation, but they do give it their all, and that is what is important. The game ended on a high note for them. It was a hard fought battle between the two teams. The final score after nine innings stood at 5-3. Baseball scores.

The Indians struggled at the plate all game long. They have a few sharp batters that have driven them to many victories. Yet during this game, they were having trouble until late in the game. For the first seven innings, Cleveland failed to produce much of anything. Then they hit gold. The Indians rallied, scoring five runs in the eighth for a 5-3 win. It was one of their better comeback victories this season, and will go down as a high point of September. Though the team will not be advancing to the finals, they can certainly pride themselves on a sturdy finish. Basketball scores.

Shelley Duncan’s three-run homer and Michael Brantley’s two-run double were all it took to win. The players remembered their training, refused to give up hope, and pulled through for the win. It was exciting to see this team finally net a win, after losing so many games. Though the Royals have been in much the same boat, they were not able to seal the game against Indians with their 3-0 lead in the seventh. Sometimes one big hit can change the game, and this is what happened on Sunday. NFL scores.

The rest of the season is looking up for Cleveland. The Indians need to keep bringing desirable results to walk off the field at the end of the season with their heads held high.
