INDIANS OUTRUN THE BLUE JAYS IN A 2-1 GAME
Tue, 29 Jun 2010 09:59 AM EDT

Eventually, it comes down to who is faster. In racing, in soccer, in basketball, and even in baseball. This time around, the Indians were faster than the Blue Jays, and they ran home with a 2-1 victory. Basketball scores.

Smart baseball usually wins and this time, the Indians played smart baseball, a bit unconventional, but  still enough to gain them the victory. When you think of someone making a suicide run for home plate, you usually picture a lanky, athletic guy sliding in for the victory. This time it was 6′3” 240 lb Hafner who managed to complete the play. Sliding home to break the 1-1 tie and score the final run, Hafner won the game. NFL scores.

Following a perfectly placed, timed, and executed bunt, Hafner ran home with everything he had, skidding across the plate and into the arms of cheering teammates, and to the sounds of cheering fans.

The play caught everyone off guard, even the Blue Jay’s pitchers, Ricky Romero, was suprised. He said in a post game interview, that you don’t see plays like that very often these days, and added that it was a very smart play.

When playing a more powerful team, the best thing you can do is be creative and unexpected, which is exactly what the Indians did. The pitching was great.  Jake Westbrook, five and four, pitched six solid innings for the Indians. They broke a seven-game losing streak on Sunday and won consecutive games for the first time since winning four straight June 9-12. NFL odds.

The thing about evenly matched teams is that the game can be quite tough. This game was a grueling one for both teams- they struggled and fought down to the last inning for every run, and this time, the Indians came out victorious after some quick thinking.
