This is a rally that really ranks among the best but this was a collapse that no one could predict. There was one guy on Sunday who was seen pumping his fists with each clutch putt in the final wearing a red shirt in the final frenzied hour of the PGA Championship. This major was filled with a number of un familiar names but it was Keegan Bradley who managed to deliver a great finish. Bradely was just five shots behind with just three holes to play after his chip had shot across the 15th green and into the pond which lead to a triple bogey. This was probably the time when the told himself that there was no safe lead on the final four holes at Atlanta Athletic Club. NFL scores

Bradley said “I just kept telling myself, ‘Don’t let that hole define this whole tournament,’”

However this later led to what many said was the most stunning of turnarounds in the history of the majors. Bradley had made back to back birdies which also included a 35 foot hit with a belly putter which had rattled into the cup of the 17th. Then also came a monumental meltdown by the great Jason Dufner. He was unflappable all afternoon when he hit his tee shot in the water during the 15th of the first three straight bogeys which led to a three hold playoff. NFL odds

Wearing a red t-shirt the son of a Pro PGA player in Vermont St. John’s Bradley was the third player in the previous 100 years who was able to win a major championship at his very first ry. NFL spreads

He said “It feels unbelievable,” “It seems like a dream and I’m afraid I’m going to wake up here in the next five minutes and it’s not going to be real.”

Of everyone the great Tiger Woods couldn’t make it to the cut and had to finish out of the top 100 for the first time in his career in a major and it was Roy McIlroy who was the U.S. Open champion who was the favorite of the PGA he got routed in the opening round and had played the rest of his week with an injury to his right wrist. He had to settle for a tie at the 64th position and had finished with just 19 shots behind.
