New York’s reserve guard Toney Douglas played some spectacular basketball on Thursday night against the Memphis Grizzlies. Douglas tied a franchise record by making nine of the Knicks’ franchise-record 20 3-pointers and finished with a total of 29 points in a 120-99 blowout win over the Grizzlies.
New York’s recently acquired superstar Carmelo Anthony finished the game with 28 points while teammate Chauncey Billups registered 18. The Knicks who were 55% from beyond the arc moved ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference by stealing the sixth place in the race to the post season.
