There is no stopping Nick Young from going all out when he returns to his hometown to play at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. As Lakers coach Phil Jackson put it, “”We know when Nick Young comes to town, we’re going to give up 25 points. This kid is going to come back to L.A. and have a great game.” Luckily for the Lakers, the Wizards did not have too great of a game. Though Young came through with 30 points, the Lakers took another home win to beat Washington for the eighth time in a row. L.A. held onto the lead to bring it to a close at 115-108 after regulation time. Vegas odds.

Already standing tall atop the Pacific Division with 15-6, the Lakers extended their home record to a remarkable 10-2. This win came at an ideal time for the team, as they are working on bouncing back from the four game losing streak they ended last week against the feeble Sacramento Kings. While the Wizards out up a fight, the Lakers seem to have found that championship winning grove that has made them famous. Kobe Bryant gave 32 points, 5 rebounds and three dimes, while Lamar Odum came through with 24 points, 7 assists and one block to help put the team over. Player of the game Pau Gasol had 21 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists. This match-up marked the last home game the Lakers will play for a couple weeks, as the team will begin their seven-game, two week road trip starting tomorrow. With another showdown between these two team on December 14th in Washington, it will be interesting to see what happened without the home advantage. Betting lines.

Los Angeles as a whole would have had an easier time if hometown kid Young had not caused such disorder.   The impressive and driven shooting guard manages a career-high six 3-pointers to contribute to his season-high 30 points on Tuesday. Young and Paul Wall came together to try and lift their team from the bottom of the Southeast Division, but were unsuccessful. In the end, the Wizards fell to a discouraging 6-14 record instead. Perhaps they will beat the L.A. team in their next match-up and taste sweet vengeance. Follow and see if they do at, your source for the best online betting information. Sports scores.
