The Lions [5-10] have had a downright discouraging season, but they seem to have made a slight turn at the end of it all. In the last three games, Detroit has had two fourth quarter comebacks, one against the Green Bay Packers and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and last minute victory over the Miami Dolphins. Sports scores. A win in this game would not only grant the Lions a four game win streak for the first time in over a decade, but it would also tie them at the bottom of the NFC North with Minnesota. That last part is particularly important because Detroit has finished at the bottom of the division for the last couple of years. Still, the truth is that the Lions have lost 16 of the last 18 games against the Vikings. It would require nothing short of a miracle for this team to win. NFL betting lines.
The Vikings have also just recently turned things in a different direction. After a season riddled with scandals on and off the field, losing QB Brett Farve might have been a blessing. His replacement, Joe Webb went for 195 yards and ran for a 31-yard TD in a surprising upset of the Philadelphia Eagles. Since Farve has failed to pass the base neurological test since his concussion, it is most like that Webb will have another opportunity to make damage in this game.
