MIAMI HEAT MELT THE SACRAMENTO KINGS
Tue, 22 Feb 2011 04:02 PM EST

The stars from Miami Heat proved that fatigue is no problem for them as they easily moved past the Sacramento Kings. It was very likely that Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh would not bring their A game because of the tiresome trip they had to take for the All-Star break. However, the trio would have none of that and they simply smashed the Sacramento Kings. Basketball scores.

The first quarter was simply disastrous for the Kings. Miami Heat was all over the court, scored like this would be their last game and defended with superb precision. The Kings never even managed to take the lead as the Heat came crashing down upon them. Kings’ fans saw their favorites heavily outscored in the first quarter. It was 16-35 and it already looked like Miami will grab another win against Sacramento.

“I don’t think we have the type of guys that would let this be a trap game,” Chris Bosh stated. “We’re focused on our goals.”

Bosh had a great game, scored 22 points and got 9 rebounds. Also, LeBron James was tremendous and easily scored 31 points. However, the attention was stolen again by Wade who was declared top performer with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Basketball odds.

The second quarter looked very different from the first. Miami was content to protect their advantage and they simply matched the Kings on every chapter. The quarter ended 28-28, which brought the overall score to 44-63.

“Me and D-Wade talked before the game … and said ‘Let’s go out and dominate this game,’ ” LeBron James stated.

Paul Westphal, Sacramento Kings coach, decided to leave Carl Landry out of this one as it seems he is involved with the Hornets and a move to New Orleans seems imminent. “We’re involved in some fairly significant discussions so it was pertinent not to play him tonight,” Paul Westphal stated. Basketball spreads.

The third quarter started and the Miami Heat players were intent on showing no mercy and offering no quarter. They systematically brought down the opposition at the end of the quarter they were leading 70-93. In the fourth quarter they just focused on augmenting their score and didn’t pay that much attention in defense. That was probably the reason why the Kings managed to get 3 points closer by the end of the game. However, it finished 97-117 and there was never any question about the winner of this game.
