The stars from Miami Heat proved that fatigue is no problem for them as they easily moved past the Sacramento Kings. It was very likely that Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh would not bring their A game because of the tiresome trip they had to take for the All-Star break. The first quarter was simply disastrous for the Kings. Miami Heat was all over the court, scored like this would be their last game and defended with superb precision. The second quarter looked very different from the first. Miami was content to protect their advantage and they simply matched the Kings on every chapter. The quarter ended 28-28, which brought the overall score to 44-63.

Paul Westphal, Sacramento Kings coach, decided to leave Carl Landry out of this one as it seems he is involved with the Hornets and a move to New Orleans seems imminent. “We’re involved in some fairly significant discussions so it was pertinent not to play him tonight,” Paul Westphal stated. The third quarter started and the Miami Heat players were intent on showing no mercy and offering no quarter. They systematically brought down the opposition at the end of the quarter they were leading 70-93. In the fourth quarter they just focused on augmenting their score and didn’t pay that much attention in defense. That was probably the reason why the Kings managed to get 3 points closer by the end of the game. However, it finished 97-117 and there was never any question about the winner of this game.
