Even though Love was on top of his game, the Minnesota Timberwolves were unable to move past the Milwaukee Bucks. Love played excellent but his performance wasn’t enough to topple Brandon Jennings and the Milwaukee Bucks. We might have seen an entirely different game if the Timberwolves had Corey Brewer, but as he was traded to the New York Knicks, we will never know. Basketball lines.
“Corey did a great job for us in practice and in games with his effort and his passion and how hard he played all the time,” Kurt Rambis, Minnesota Timberwolves coach, stated. “Everybody on the team loved him. We liked his enthusiasm for the game. I personally still think he’s growing as a player. He’s only going to get better. He’s going to be missed.”
Rambis is not the only one to miss Brewer. Star K. Love also expressed his feelings and said a few words about the matter.
“I value Corey tremendously as a person and also very, very much so as a teammate,” Love stated. “He was big time for us on the defensive end and also adding a spark plug every time we put him into the game off the bench or we started him. We gave up Corey, who I loved as a teammate, but we still added a lot of talent, so we’ll see how this thing works out.” Basketball betting lines.
The first quarter started with the Bucks and the Timberwolves fighting for dominance. However, the game looked pretty tight and none of the teams could get a clear advantage. Brandon Jennings was awesome on the field and his performance helped his team set the score at 23-26.
“Second half of the season so, you know, you have to get a little more serious,” Jennings stated. “We have to come more mentally focused and ready to play.”
Minnesota played a bit better in the second quarter and quickly managed to clear the deficit. The game was bound in an impressive deadlock as the teams battled for supremacy. However, by half time the score was tied and nobody could guess which way it would go. The score was 44-44. Basketball scores.
The third quarter simply brought more of the same. None of the teams could keep an advantage and they simply added 23 more points to their tally. It was 67-67 and all would be decided in the final quarter. And that was when the Bucks finally managed to break away and set the final score at 88-94.
