MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES LOSE TO LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
Wed, 16 Feb 2011 04:50 PM EST

Blake Griffin managed to outperform Kevin Love as the Los Angeles Clippers got a win in Minneapolis against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The game started great for the Clippers and they got a head start in a quarter in which they outscored the Timberwolves, 23-20. Ryan Gomes, ex-Timberwolves Randy Foye and Blake Griffin were on the top of their game last night as they scored 68 points together. Basketball odds.

However, even though he had an awesome match, it seems Blake Griffin had reasons to be upset and didn’t want to give any statements after the game. An official spokesperson for the Los Angeles Clippers stated that Griffin had some sort of a personal problem.

But Vinny Del Negro was not at all upset after his team’s good performance. “Considering where we’re at healthwise, considering the length of the trip, considering everything thrown at us, we’ll take the win tonight and focus on the improvements we made tonight,” Del Negro stated.

Keith Love had a great start but was bothered by a right shoulder injury in the second quarter. That was probably the reason why couldn’t have much of an effect on Griffin’s game. Basketball spreads.

The Timberwolves were better in the second quarter and managed to reduce their deficit. It was highly disputed part of the game and by the end of it, the overall score was Clippers 43, Timberwolves 42.

However, after Love’s injury the Timberwolves looked tired and were demolished in the third quarter. “It felt like my whole arm caught fire,” Love stated about his injury. The quarter saw the Clippers outscore the Timberwolves by 9 points. It was 29-20, which brought the overall score to 72-62.

Kurt Rambis, coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves blames this defeat on the fact that his team is extremely tired. “I hate to say it, but if there has ever been a team I have been around that needs the break, this is the team,” Rambis stated. Basketball lines.

The Clippers decided to protect their advantage in the fourth quarter and they did a good job out of it. They were barely outscored by the Timberwolves and victory was theirs. The quarter finished 26-28 and the Timberwolves were unable to completely cut the Clippers’ advantage. “We can’t make excuses, we’re tired, we’re hurt, whatever,” Darko Milicic, centre for the Timberwolves stated. “We’re missing everything.” It finished 98-90 and the Timberwolves couldn’t get a win in front of their fans.
