CFL Game of the Week
CALGARY STAMPEDERS (10-3)
at MONTREAL ALOUETTES (9-4)
Kickoff: Monday, 1:00 p.m. EDT, Line: Montreal -3.5, Total: 58
The Stamps will travel east this week to play Montreal in the second of a home-and-home battle between first-place teams.
After starting the season 9-1, the Stamps have lost two of their past three games, but defeated the Als last week at home. The loss stopped a three-game win streak for Montreal.
Calgary has won four of the past six meetings in this series. The Stamps totaled 522 yards of offense and QB Henry Burris rated a perfect 158.3 in last week’s victory. The Als will be without leading receiver Kerry Watkins for the second straight week with a shoulder injury. Las Vegas odds.
The Als are undefeated when Anthony Calvillo starts at home (5-0) and have scored less than 30 points just once this season, and that was when Calvillo was injured. Despite not having Watkins, Jamal Richardson should provide enough depth at WR to help the Als win.
