The New Jersey Nets came through a rock solid performance over the Detroit Pistons in their game on Wednesday, demonstrating that they can and will take a stand this year. With a 1-0 record so far, they have a solid momentum boost. They should continue to play great games if they can keep playing like this. The Nets were in top form, flowing really smoothly on the court. They ended the game with a final score of 101-98 over the Pistons in an action packed, very close game. Football odds.

While the Pistons have been working on their game, it seems as if they still have more to do. The Detroit team would do well to work on their defensive game, as the Nets were able to slip through right at the last moment and take it with some spectacular basketball. They held fast all game long, and have been playing awesome basketball ever since the preseason. It seems the training sessions have really kicked in. They are well prepared for this season of play. On the offensive for the Nets, Anthony Morrow hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 26 seconds left in the game to reverse it and take their first win this season. The entire team pressed hard all game long, though it was tough against the Pistons. They outscored the Pistons 13-3 in the final 1:40 to win a game they never would have a year ago. They have put in serious time to make a good run at things this year, and they are looking for a good record to back their new owner. Football lines.
