The New York Yankees are back on top of the world as they have overcome some injuries that were setting them back. On Thursday, they took a game against the struggling Cleveland Indians that ended 11-4, it seems the Yanks have found their groove again.

With the eyes of the world on every move he makes, Alex Rodriguez has been under a lot of pressure to come through for his 600th home run. The Thursday game kept fans waiting, but A-Rod never delivered. He did have a great game however, adding 3 RBIs to his record, and providing solid support for his team.

Seven is what many consider a lucky number, the Yankees scored seven runs in the seventh inning, really blasting ahead of the Indians, who handed them a stinging defeat several days ago.  They are famous for having one of the strongest offensive lineups in the game, and Dustin Moseley followed in their footsteps.

He opened the game for his first win in the majors, the Yankees picked him up due to his promising numbers in the minors. He ended up allowing only one run and four hits over six innings. He received a great backing by the rest of the team, who came through to give Moseley a great first game. Curtis Granderson and Rodriguez each had two-run singles. There were no home runs from Rodriguez but he still came through with some solid at-bats.

The Yankees are a team that is capable of some amazing things, they can come back from great deficits and claim a victory in a single inning. These guys are notorious for landing massive blow out streaks of runs that completely reverse games. All they have to do is make sure that they can continue playing with such solid results. Be sure and follow the Yankees as they stride forward in the season. The 600th homer at the hands of Rodriguez could happen at any moment. As always, is the best place to keep track of your favorite team.
