PACKERS PLAY LIONS
Wed, 06 Oct 2010 10:46 AM EDT

The Packers are certainly one of the more well-known teams of the NFL. Standing as one of the most revered teams around, they have a long history of victorious games to uphold. They boast a fierce defensive line, a powerful offensive and cunning coaches. This is a team that delivers time and time again, and on Sunday, they played an exceptional game against the Detroit Lions. The game was a tight one, but the Packers stuck it out, delivering yet another spectacular victory for their fans. The game ended 28-26 after regulation time. Vegas odds.

Even though the Lions have lost four games, they refused to give in. This team plays hard, and look for chances anywhere they can. They have been taking a few tough breaks this year, and though they have a losing record, they still pose a threat for their opponents. The Detroit team tried everything they could think of to overcome the tough Packers, but it was not enough. Close, as they say, only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. While football has an explosive nature, it is neither. Betting lines.

The Packers were coming off a loss last week when they started the game against the Lions. They needed to do everything they could to beat the improved team. The loss marked the 20th straight at the hands of the Packers for Detroit.  With their star QB out of commission, backup Shaun Hill had to step up. Sports scores.

The Lions almost took the first win of the season with him in charge, and he had a good game. Hill threw for 331 yards and two touchdowns to Calvin Johnson, who has been sharp in the receiving end.  However, no matter what they did, they didn’t have enough staying power to put the Packers away.
