It was an inspiring game from QB Aaron Rodgers and the sixth-seeded Green Bay Packers. After beating Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles in last week’s Wild Card game, they shrewdly routed the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons in the Divisional Playoff game on Saturday. This victory was almost completely in the hand of Rodgers, who will lead his team in a NFC Championship game at either Chicago or Seattle next week. With a practically non-existent defense from Atlanta and an offense that refused to run the ball, the Packers went on to score the most points ever scores by Green Bay in a playoff game. It all came to a close at 48-21 after regulation time. Vegas odds.

Player of the last two games, Rodger went all out and delivered 31 of 36 for a whopping 366 yards. Although Green Bay didn’t score in the first quarter, Rodgers started the steady trail to victory with a 6-yard pass to Jordy Nelson in the second. That was followed by a 1-yard run from John Kuhn, a 20-yard pass from Rodgers to James Jones and a stunning 70-yard interception return by Tramon Williams in the final minutes of the second quarter. The second half was Rodgers, Kuhn and Mason Crosby all over again. RB James Starks contributed 66 rushing yards on 25 carries, while WR Greg Jennings got 8 receptions for 101 yards to out-duel Pro Bowl receiver Roddy White. Betting lines.

The Packer offense repeatedly carved up Atlanta’s defense with 80+ yard drives. Furthermore, the defense permitted only one TD in the last half. If Green Bay can remain consistent, you just might see them representing the NFC in the Super Bowl this season. Sports scores.

After one of the best seasons in franchise history, the Falcons came to a rather sour ending. Atlanta’s defense put no pressure on the Packers, and seemed incapable of running the ball. Saturday’s game marked the second time the team has gone into the playoff as the NFC’s top-seeded team only to fail in the first game. It seems as if that week of rest from the first round bye did them no good. For the latest lines and scores on the Net, be sure to check out
