The Texas Rangers are pushing for their first series win in the postseason in quite some time. The team has fought extremely hard all year long for this chance. If they can keep their heads up, they will be able to move on in the postseason and on to an exhilarating finish. They have dominated, and are playing the best season in franchise history. As such, it would be a shame if they got knocked out in the first round. They are set to play the Tampa Bay Rays, who are not looking to go down without a fight. This team has also pressed hard this year, taking the lead of the AL-East on pure grit. Odds.

The Rangers will be looking to overwhelm the Rays with a bit of fancy pitching from Cliff Lee. He has been using his power all year long, and it doesn’t seem like he will be slowing down anytime soon. Lee has been vital for the Rangers, aiding their sturdy offensive line take down many of the tougher opponents this year. In the postseason he has continued his brilliance thus far. Scores.

The Rays will be relying on David Price again, and it will be a repeat of the opener. Price failed to match up with Lee during the opener, which resulted in the Rays being blown apart on the field. They have to keep playing quality baseball if they wish to make it through to the second round to knock out the Yankees. Las Vegas odds.

It will certainly be an exciting match up between two of the best teams around. The one who displays the most aptitude on the field will walk with a pass to the second round. Be sure and follow the rest of the action at
