The Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals were playing for very different reasons on Sunday, January 2nd. Since the Ravens were already in the playoffs, they merely hoped to gain a bit of momentum going into the postseason and bide some time while waiting on the result of the Pittsburgh-Cleveland game. At the bottom of their division, the Bengals were hoping for no more than a positive end to their season. In the end, neither team got exactly what they were after. Betting lines.

Pittsburgh’s win over Cincinnati gave them sole possession of the AFC North, which dealt Baltimore a wild card instead of the title and a first round bye. The Ravens 13-7 victory over the Bengals sent Cincinnati off with a disappointing end to a dreadful season.

Although the Ravens did not take first seed, they will still make an appearance in the playoffs. Ending the regular season with a 12-4 record, Baltimore will head into the postseason on a winning streak of four games. Although this was not the team’s best show, they certainly gained momentum and confidence with the win. Scores.

Billy Cundiff made two field goals, and Todd Heap contributed three catches for 53 yards in his second game after a three-week absence caused by a right hamstring injury. Ed Reed was good for two critical interceptions before leaving with a rib injury. RB Roy Rice rushed 20 times for 77 yards, and scored for his fifth rushing touchdown and sixth score overall this season. QB Joe Flacco with a mediocre performance of 14 of 19 for only 125 yards. He was also intercepted once, and made no score for the third time this season. The Ravens ended this one victorious, but they will have to do a lot better going into the playoffs. Luckily, this team has done well on the road. Las Vegas odds.

The Bengals fell to 4-12 overall, and showed the nation exactly why they have that record. Carson Plamer failed to secure the ball, and the team as a whole had five TO, missed a 29-yard FG and netted only 90 yards rushing. It was a welcomed end to a horrible season.
