It has been a mixed up, turbulent series between the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles. While the Orioles have won a few, the Red Sox have netted a couple as well. It has been a late season push for Baltimore, but they are really looking good. The Red Sox are trying frantically to hold onto their position. If they keep playing like this, they will most definitely be able to. The game ended in a very one-sided 6-1 after nine innings. Football odds.

The Orioles simply fell apart against the Red Sox. The Boston team played very well. They were on point to deliver a very solid outing. The pitching was sharp, and the batting heavy for a team that has been struggling for the majority of the year. Though the Red Sox have had a tough run, they are closing in on the final stretch with lots of fuel left to burn. Football spreads.

The Red Sox lineup did well against the Orioles at the plate. David Ortiz is back to his usual stuff, and really playing well. Even though he started the season off slow, he seems to be making up for it. The powerhouse hitter proved powerful on Wednesday, giving a three-run homer and driving in four runs. Football lines.

At the mound, it was another success story as John Lackey ended a career-worst four-game losing streak. The pitcher appeared calm, collected and prepared on the field. He pitched gold, silencing the powerful hitters on the Baltimore team. Going for seven innings, he allowed one run and five hits, and struck out four. It has been a rocky season for Lackey, but he seems to be coming around. The whole team is looking good. The only question is to how far they will be able to take it.
