Boston has delivered promising games in recent weeks. Though they have been plagued by injuries all season long, lately they have been playing much better. The game on Sunday was filled with brilliant moments. They pitched well, batted skillfully and just played a great baseball game.  Toronto’s typical power at the plate was absent as the Red Sox pitchers kept them swinging at air. Las Vegas Odds

Clay Buchholz led his team to victory. With a surging record, he has become one of the greatest pitchers in modern baseball. He has worked hard for Boston, and is delivering great results. Keeping his speeds varied, he kept the sluggers of the Toronto team under wraps. He gave up three runs or less for the 15th time in his last 16 starts. He allowed only five hits for the third straight game, struck out seven and walked three.

At the plate, the Red Sox looked good. They have had issues completing big hits recently, but Sunday was their day. David Ortiz led off with a triple, and then Adrian Beltre lined a double to left, bringing Ortiz home. Hall hit his 17th homer of the year, after which Ryan Kalish hit a run scoring double. Ortiz, who hit a single, capped off the outburst.  This team completely dominated the plate during the game.  Toronto just couldn’t get their offensive going against the powerful pitching.
