The 49ers played a great game against the Rams on Sunday, taking a much-needed win and delivering the Rams a loss. The game was closely contested, as both teams were pushing for the win. The Rams were overtaken in the very end, allowing the 49ers to take the game 23-20 with an overtime field goal. Football betting lines.

The game was finalized on a play made by Joe Nedney. This amazing player kicked a 29-yard field goal with 9:38 left in OT.  He was backed up by a few fantastic plays by the whole team. Most notably, Smith was on fire. He earned his second straight victory as a starter for the 49ers, throwing a go-ahead 16-yard touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree with 2:10 left in regulation. The Rams were the favorites at the start of things. However, this is football. Anything can happen. To everyone’s surprise, Smith had a golden day. His team will be looking to replicate the results. If he can, they will move forward this season. They never gave up, keeping the pressure on the St. Louis team the entire time. The 49ers were in top form, which allowed them to take a step in the right direction. It will be a good year for them if they can recover and start winning more games.  This was a rough game. The Rams are in a tough spot. As the 49ers ruthlessly revealed, the St. Louis team lacks the ability to finish the plays. Bradford went 30 of 42 for 251 yards and a touchdown, while Jackson rushed for 81 yards and a score. The Rams have lost seven straight road games, including all four under their rookie quarterback.
