The international tennis sensation, Top-seeded Robin Soderling of Sweden, has recently advanced to a solid position in the Swiss Open quarterfinals.  His excellent style proved to be what won the game for him. Soderling plays tennis at a world-class level, right up there with Federer and Nadal. Football scores.

He was playing against fellow Swede, Andreas Vinciguerra on Wednesday, the match went to three sets before Soderling could break his serve and claim a victory. With so many young people around the world playing tennis, the level of play on a global scale has been increasing in recent years.

Soderling had an impressive game; his natural talent was quite evident as he flowed on the court. His power and grace captivated the audience as he hit 15 aces on the way to a 6-2, 6-7 (6), 6-2 victory over the wild card. He will play Italy’s Andreas Seppi in the quarterfinals. Baseball scores.

Things were seemingly easy fro the No.5-ranked Soderling  as he broke Vinciguerra’s serve, first in the second, and then in the eighth game. Dominating the court on Wednesday, he reminded the world what he is capable of wielding a tennis racket.

At the French Open on clay last month, Soderling made it all the way to the finals before being ousted. He beat out some of the top picks, making short work of them in the same manner as he did Vinciguerra.

Soderling’s competition is fierce, but he may prevail with a cool head and some determination. David Ferrer of Spain and Uruguay’s Pablo Cuevas also will meet in the last eight, as they both won their matches on Tuesday. Basketball scores.
