It looked like it was going to be an easy game for the Vancouver Canucks against the St. Louis Blues. The Canucks are on an incredible run of form and the Blues have lost some key games in the recent weeks. However, not all things are always as they should be, and the Canucks had a harder time than they expected. It took some inspiration from a very unexpected source for the Canucks to finally land this win. Betting lines.

Everything started just as everyone imagined. The Canucks practically owned the first period. The Blues had some chances of their own, but they simply couldn’t match up. Mikael Samuelsson grabbed the opening goal for the Canucks just before the 10 minute mark. The Sedin brothers worked some beautiful play and Henrik finally set up Samuelsson for the opener. 7 minutes later, it was Sami Salo’s turn to put his name on the score board. It was 0-2 in a game that was unfolding pretty much as everyone expected.

“For some reason, we’ve struggled in the second periods at times, and we were flat there after a good first,” Schneider stated. “We said let’s get an early one and get back in the lead and play our game. Manny scored a big goal for us, and that’s what we do best is play with a lead in the third period.” Odds.

The second period could not have been more different from the first. The Blues showed some great determination and the Canucks kind of slacked off a bit. A goal for the Blues was rapidly approaching and it finally came 27 seconds after the 6 minute mark. It practically gave the Blues wings and they were able to equalize just a minute later. A second period loss of form saw the Canucks lose their entire advantage. They tried to take back the lead but none of the team’s established scorers could do it. No other goal was scored in the second period and it was all level as the third began.

It took Manny Malhotra’s inspiration for another goal to be scored. He put it away right after the 1 minute mark, and the Canucks won 2-3.
