Milwaukee has now formally agreed to a three team trade agreement with the Sacramento Kings as well as the Charlotte Bobcats which should put the star player Stephen Jackson in with the Bucks. The Bucks will take Jackson an Shaun Livingston from Charlotte along with Beno Udrith from Sacramento as well as get 19th pick rights Tobias Harris directly from the Bobcats while at the same time Charlotte will get right to their seventh pick Bismack Biyombo and Corey Maggette the forward from Milwaukee.
The Kings will also get the guard John Salmons direct from Milwaukee as well as the rights to BYU’s guard Jimmer Fredette who was the 10th selection by the Bucks. But Charlotte has wanted to hold on to their No. 9 pick which was used to select Kemba Walker the UConn guard. Basketball scores
A source close to all this action told us that Jackson was not very happy about being traded to Milwaukee and it remains to be seen if he will cooperate and if he’ll actually join the team. This will be Jackson’s seventh team in the 11 NBA seasons he has played in his career and averages 16.3 points from 4.5 rebounds as well as 3.6 assists per game. He also averaged 18.5 points per game just last season but his team the Bobcats didn’t manage to make it to the playoffs.
By going forth and agreeing to this deal all three states i.e. Sacramento, Charlotte and Milwaukee have primarily shuffled some large guaranteed contracts. Jackson still has another two years and over $19 million left on his deal while Maggette has owned over $21 million for the next two seasons, while Salmons have three years and $24 million left on their deal which also includes $7 worth of team options in 2014-15. The Kings have shed Udrih’s contract which is over $7 million next year with player options worth $8 million. Basketball spreads
Maggette now heads over to the fifth team in the 12 seasons. He has averaged 16.2 points with 5.0 rebounds but his career has slipped to 12.0 and 3.6 during his first season playing for Milwaukee.
How Stephen Jackson will fare with the Bucks remains to be seen but if he’s unhappy about the trade it could affect the team’s performance. Basketball betting lines
