The Phoenix Suns were finally able to bring an end to their 3-game losing streak in their game on Monday against the Houston Rockets. Nash’s return seemed to make all the difference. The key player recently suffered a groin injury, which caused him to have more bench time than usual. However, with Nash back on the court and recovered, the team was back to top form. All five starters for the Suns shone through with double digit scores, while the team as a whole shot 42 of 78 from the field. By the end of the regulation time, Phoenix was able to take the game with a 123-116 victory.  Basketball odds.

The Suns are doing quite well this year, and is now second atop the Pacific Division. Though they initially suffered from a few adjustments in the beginning, they seemed to have ironed those issues out. It took a bit for Nash to rely on someone besides Stoudemire, who signed a 5 year contract with the New York Knicks this year. Phoenix is steadily rolling along once again. Team leader in rebounds and blocks Channing Frye came through with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocks, while team leader in points and assist per game was good for 24 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assist and 5 turnovers. These are merely two of the many fantastic players on the Suns team. This win marks the 10th time that Phoenix has beat Houston in their last 13 matches. Basketball spreads.

While the Suns concluded their losing streak, the Rockets continued theirs instead. Many are saying that Houston’s bad luck has a lot to do with the fact that Yao Ming is still out with a bruised bone in his left ankle. Ming is a crucial player for Texas, a fact which has been evident in his absence. The Rockets have now fallen to 3-10, bringing them to the bottom of the Southwest Division.
