The time is decided and the teams are set for Super Bowl XLV. Come this Sunday, February 6th, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers will meet at the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas for the biggest NFL showdown of the year. Kickoff is set for 6:30PM ET in a field that will splattered with green, yellow, white, black and fervent fans. There are currently nine Super Bowl titles between the two clubs, but only team will walk away the victor with trophy and title in hand. Be sure to tune your TV to Fox Sports to see who it will be. NFL scores.

The Steelers [14-4] have had an emotional yet enticing year, which all began with sexual assault allegations against Pro-Bowl QB Ben Roethlisberger and a four game suspension. Since then, he has grown with his team in both character and prestige. A win would represent Pittsburgh’s seventh Super Bowl title, something they haven’t achieved since 2008, and Roethlisberger’s third. Players such as Big Ben, RB Rashard Mendenhall, WR Mike Wallace and Troy Polamalu will present a challenge for the sixth seeded Packers. Even more intimidating is the fact that the Steelers sport the league’s best defense, which allowed only 62.8 yards per game on the ground. The only thing going against Pittsburgh is that their starting five might be without Maurkice Pouncey, as he sprained his ankle in the AFC tile game. NFL spreads.

The Packers [10-6] will put their #2 ranked defense, talented QB and strong fleet of receivers up against the Steelers. Although Green Bay finished second in the NFC North, the above combination is what has gotten this far, especially the QB. Aaron Rodgers has really stepped out of the shadow of predecessor Brett Farve and into his own. Sunday will be his shot for his first Super Bowl ring. Coach Mike McCarthy said of Rodgers, “I think he’s definitely the quarterback we all hoped he would become.” Let see if he can prove to be while lighting up the scoreboard once again for this last game of the season.
