The best way to kick off the season is with a win. Well, the Tigers can say they have, as they beat the Mississippi team on Thursday night. The game was a perfect example of just how good college football can be. It ended 17-14 with some impressive passing from Newton that resulted in two touchdowns. With such an exciting start to the season, there is nowhere to go but up. The Tigers appeared composed, collected and focused on the field. Regardless what happened, they kept on going. In football, being ahead of the game is key. Thinking three plays down the line, figuring out who to pass to and when and what to do when you are being rushed is all vital, and all needs to happen at simultaneously.
