The Chicago White Sox fell to the Detroit Tigers on Sunday. It was a long, drawn out affair that ended with a really one-sided final score. The Tigers were in top form as they finally won a road game. After nine innings of struggle, the score was 13-8. Odds.

The Tigers have been amongst the fiercest teams at home for the majority of the season; their road games however, have fallen short of the mark. Regardless, on Sunday they appeared to have things under control. The Injury riddled White Sox struggled to defeat the heavy hitting Detroit team.

The Tigers led with competent pitching, strong fielding and some amazing at-bats from their hitting crew. The game was tied late into the evening when Johnny Damon came to the plate. He hit a tie-breaking, two-run triple in the eighth. During the game, Jhonny Peralta homered twice. It was a great game for all the batters, as every one of them seemed to play to their strengths. Miguel Cabrera and Ryan Raburn also connected for the Tigers. This was a good game in many ways. It was their third victory in 16 road games, and their first win in a ten road series. The Sox played well until things went crazy in the eighth inning. Chicago has some amazing players on its roster, and has been able to rely on all of them this year.
