TWINS TO POSTSEASON

They knew it all season long, and have been playing towards this goal since the start. The Minnesota Twins are the first team through to the postseason, and they accomplished it in a spectacular manner. As everything they did in the game was great, the celebration afterwards was legendary. However, the Twins will remain focused, as there is a long road ahead to the World Series. The game against the Cleveland Indians ended 6-4 after nine innings of intense play. Odds.

It was a come from behind game, the best victory there can be. An added benefit was that it qualified them for the October games. With the White Sox losing to the Athletics, the Twins advanced with the victory over the Indians. Sharp pitching and exceptional hitting made all the difference. The Twins were in control from beginning to end. This will definitely go down as one of the best games of their season. Scores.

It took some effort, but they managed to win. Though the Indians pitching was also superb, it wasn’t enough to beat the powerful Twins at the plate. Jim Thome hit a solo homer, after which Danny Valencia had two hits and an RBI for the Twins. Each and every player helped move the team towards victory. Delmon Young came through with a heavy hit to once again aid his team. The tremendous amount of support he has given to the Twins this year has been amazing. At the mound, both teams proved themselves praiseworthy. Glen Perkins capped the game for the Twins, and is now looking forward to the rest of the season.
