Nobody can say the Detroit Pistons are having one of their best seasons. Actually, they are on a terrible season, but it is still better than the season the Washington Wizards are having. Well, almost everyone is having a better season than the Washington Wizards. So the Detroit win really doesn’t come as any surprise. The game was great, and Villanueva’s performance in the second quarter was one of the highlights of the game. Vegas odds.

“I just tried to come off the bench and provide the team with a spark,” Charlie Villanueva, who managed to score 16 points in the second quarter, stated. “My teammates did a great job of finding me and were moving the ball great.”

The first quarter happened like everyone expected it to. The Pistons kept coming and the Wizards kept struggling to keep them away. They didn’t succeed and were outscored, 22-29. It was not a decisive lead, but it was still a great start for the Pistons, and it gave them the confidence they needed to surpass their opponents. Betting lines.

The second quarter was all Villanueva. Without him, it could not have been so tight, and the game could have had an entirely different outcome. However, the offensive performances of both teams peaked in the second quarter. Both of them scored a lot, but Detroit still managed to keep an edge and added a couple of points to their lead. The score for the second quarter was 29-31, which brought the overall score to 51-60.

“We didn’t get any stops down the stretch tonight is what it boiled down to,” Randy Wittman, Washington Wizards fill-in coach, stated. “They hurt us with Tayshaun and Stuckey pick-and-roll and kind of hurt us every which way. Daye hit some 3s, they got some offensive rebounds and overall down the stretch you have to get some stops and we didn’t tonight.”

The Detroit Pistons played a great defensive game in the third quarter and they were able to keep their advantage intact. The Wizards looked determined to get something out of this, but their efforts were thwarted most of the time. However, the Pistons did not add anything to their lead, and after a tight 22-22, the score was 73-82.

The fourth quarter looked a lot like the second. The score was identical and, sometimes, it looked like the teams had turn back the time. But that was the present, and after another 29-31 quarter, the Pistons won the game, 102-113. Sports scores.
