The Chicago White Sox have played a number of extremely good games this year. They have a solid lineup that continues to deliver time and time again. They faced off against the Kansas City Royals, taking a firm victory. The game ended 12-6 after nine innings.

The White Sox appear to be a strong competitor this year. As they are playing well, they hold a fantastic place in the standings. The game on Sunday was a perfect example of what this Chicago team is capable of. If they keep playing this way, they will certainly finish the season on a high note. At the mound, Philip Humber was brilliant. He delivered 2 1-3 innings to gave up four runs and five hits. He was followed by Reliever Sergio Santos, who pitched 1 1-3 scoreless innings for the win. It was a great comeback victory, possibly even one of the best this year for the team.  The rest of the season is looking quite bright for them.
