WHITE SOX SINK MARINERS
Wed, 28 Jul 2010 10:39 PM EDT

The Seattle Mariners found themselves between a rock and a hard place on Tuesday night. There was no way they were going to win against the onslaught presented to them by the Chicago White Sox. It ended 11-0, a massive shutout in favor of the guys from the Windy City.  Their batting lineup smashed everything that came their way; it was a great game for the fans.

The Chicago White Sox are one of the best teams in their Division; they have a solid foundation of players that are extremely skilled. Their recurring success has pushed them into a great position, and with a bit more effort they will be sure to place in the division playoffs.

A strong offense is characteristic of a White Sox game, and this one was no exception. With massive at bats from Alexei Ramirez, Andruw Jones and Paul Konerko resulting in several home runs and a majority stake in the 11 runs that were scored, the batting power of the Sox came to the forefront again. Gavin Floyd led the Sox to victory with a great showing from the mound.

Chicago took Ryan Rowland-Smith and the Mariners to the cleaners. They scored four runs in the first inning, and were up 8-0 by the third. Alexi Ramirez stated that the whole team is inspired, and that they just want to win every game. This is obviously the goal of every baseball player out there, but the White Sox have been able to provide their players with ample opportunity to accomplish just that.

What sets these guys apart is the fact that they just do things right. Very few errors have plagued them this year, all their players are mashing quite well, and there are no rifts between management and the guys on the field. A happy team is a winning team as they say, and the Chicago White Sox appear to be extremely happy at the moment.  Follow them at www.scoresandodds.com, home of the best sports betting data on the internet.
