For the second time in November, the Wizards beat the 76ers in a highly contested game. This particular match-up was so close that it was even forced into overtime. If not for point guard John Wall, the game might have gone to Philadelphia instead. With only seconds left in the game, Wall threw the ball toward the basket in order to take advantage of a foul made my Jrue Holiday. By throwing it, he turned it into a shooting foul to give himself a three shot opportunity. Apparently that was all the Wizards needed take one more miraculous overtime victory. They brought the game to a close at a nail biting 116-114. Vegas odds.

Even though the Wizards only stand with a 0.385 percentage, they have still had a decent season, especially against the sixers. While Washington did take this match-up by a hair, it was hard fought battle filled with fouls, technicals and ferocity. The shooting foul that sent the game into OT was not the only one. Elton Brand (19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assist, 3 turnovers and 3 steals) suffered the repercussions of intentionally knocking down JaVale McGee (24 points, 18 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 assist, turnovers and steals). For that he was kicked out of the game. Marreese Speights and Wall (25 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assist, 1 block and 1 steal) received technicals for a heated dispute that resulted from a foul in the last half minute of regulation time. It was certainly a dramatic and exciting game for both of the teams involved. Betting lines.

Already sitting at the bottom of the Atlantic Division, Philadelphia lost another away game. Still, it was a close loss. One of the many injured players in the game was Andre Iguodala, who really shone through for his team. He was good for 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists. Perhaps with Iguodala’e help, Philadelphia will be able to bring an end to the critical mistakes that seem to be repeated throughout their games.
